Facts about Fauna

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Fauna was a barn kitty that came in as a pregnant foster a few years ago. She used to be very shy, but has finally realized that people are actually not scary, and that they actually give a really good back scratch! She would love a home of her own, and would probably turn into a very content lap cat for the right person! Currently she is not a huge fan of being held, but does love to be pet! She gets along very well with other cats, but would be fine on her own as well.

About F.A.C.T. (Fight Animal Cruelty Today)

About Our Rescue Group...

F.A.C.T. (Fight Animal Cruelty Today) was formed in early 2010. Since then, we have helped hundreds of homeless pets find their forever homes!

F.A.C.T. is a 501(c)(3) public charity in Upstate New York. We also work out of some areas in Vermont.

At this time, we do not have a facility to bring homeless pets to. We do, however, have a wonderful group of fosters who have been opening their homes to cats in need! Cats in foster care are vetted appropriately based on age (examined by a veterinarian, vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested, spayed/neutered, dewormed, flea treated) and put up for adoption. Adoption requires an application, veterinary reference, home visit, and adoption fee.
