Jazzy's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jazzy's Story...
Jazzy is a 9-10 year old pure bred Havenese who was surrendered to HART by her owner, when she became ill and unable to care for her. The other three surrendered with her already found their homes, so now it's Jazzy's turn. For being a senior citizen, Jazzy has plenty of energy and is a healthy happy puppy doggy. Because of some bad dental hygiene, most of her teeth towards the front of her mouth were extracted but it doesn't seem to bother her in the least. She's still able to eat hard food but I'm sure she would mind if it were mixed in with the yummy wet stuff.

Jazzy is currently being fostered in a house full of kitty cats and loves them all. She follows her foster around like a shadow and gets along with other dogs as well. Jazzy would certainly enjoy a home where she can take naps, cuddle, and live out the rest of her years. She is low maintenance and would do well in almost any situation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jazzy, a Cincinnati Havanese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Havanese dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
