Here's what the humans have to say about me:
To start the adoption process, please fill out our form on our web site at: www.spokanewienerdogs.org and see the Adopt a Dog/Fee page with more details on how we adopt our dogs. Please read. There are a lot of questions answered on our site and personality details below about each dog listed again only if folks read.
If the dogs are listed here then yes they are still available for adoption, They will stay listed until we find them the right homes with our adoption paperwork all finished. Thanks. Those marked pending home by their names are on a test drive in their new homes so see if they work out. Once they past their test drive only then we do mark them as adopted.
Please indicate which dog you are interested in on our pre-adoption form on the site above. You can also read about our adoption process, our requirements needed to adopt a hunting dog breed from us and our paperwork needed to adopt from our rescue. This is a short adoption process but please read first. Thanks so much.
There is an adoption fee of $400 for this dog. No phone calls or emails please. Please see our web site for more details om how we adopt BEFORE emailing.
This sweet guy is Gus and in rescue for barking too much I was told. So far he is very mellow and not a barker here. He is a three year old tweenie sized male about 14 - 15 pounds and just a nice dog. Gus is not an abuse case, etc.
I am still testing him on cats and people as he just arrived but so far very sweet and happy.
Wires do not last long in rescue so if you want to adopt him read above on our we start our adoption process which is not with an email asking if he still needs a home. I do remove our ads when our dogs are placed.
We do require a fenced yard in town so no apartments, condos and townhouses as this breed is too active to not run off leash constantly and too loud for homes with shared walls.
