My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Myra is one of a kind and has proven to be a survivor. She was found with injuries and that we couldn't know the extent of, but she is as good as new and ready for her home. Myra is a happy go lucky gal that loves people and loves to be the center of attention. She is a sweet, sweet girl! She shares her foster home with several other canines and gets along with all of them just fine.

Myra is about as laid back as a girl can get. She is approximately 6 yrs old and around 13 lbs. She is most animated when food is being served. She has a super low maintenance personality and goes with the flow. You will not find a more easy going girl!

Myra has some remaining issues with her back leg that causes her to limp, but doesn't slow her down! Besides, her favorite place to be in in your arms or in your lap!

Myra is fostered in Chattanooga, but a meet and greet may also be arranged in Atlanta as well.

Prior to adoptions, all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age appropriate), heartworm tested, microchipped and are kept up to date on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

Adoption fees are $300 for dogs up to 8 years of age and $200 for 8+ years.

SOMAD is a private, all volunteer, foster-home based rescue group. Please be patient as we answer your inquiries; we do our best to answer emails within a day, however volume and regular life schedules sometimes delay us.
