Coot - IN TRAINING's Story...
I really hope to find a forever home that will continue to work with me on becoming more socialized. On October 16th I entered the RPSM Correctional Companion Program for 9 weeks to help me do just that. I have made great progress already since starting my program and I am getting better as I learn to trust my trainers. Once I trust you, I'm a very loving girl. I have started to eat regularly after coming into prison and being really scared of the new surroundings. Things will only get from now on. You see, my litter mates and I were surrendered to an animal shelter and had very little exposure to humans. The shelter staff worked hard to socialize all of us, but my brother Chedder and I were not making the same progress as the rest of our litter so we were sent to a place called The Devoted Barn to work on our socialization where we made HUGE strides. Some ladies at RSPM came out to meet us and said we could be a part of their training program to help us become more socialized and maybe learn some basic commands. I'm a hilarious pup that loves to run around like a crazy fox. I enjoy pets and snuggles from my favorite people, and I hope that will include you. I do great with other dogs. Please submit your adoption application to adopt me today.
I'm spayed and UTD on all my vaccines, HW, FT, and have a microchip of my own. RPSM recommends children 6 years and older. I will require a fenced in yard, either physical or underground. If you are interested in adopting me, please go to www.rpsm.org to fill out an application. My adoption fee is $250.
