Information

Nooka is a beautiful, very sweet 8 month old Australian Cattle Dog. He is a good boy in the house and fairly good on walks. Nooka is a smart boy and already knows SIT. He is housebroken, but being young, can't hold it for over 8 hours just yet. He would do best with a fenced-in yard to run around in. He would be a great playmate for another dog. He HATES a crate, but a crate is not needed since he does well when left to roam free in the house.

If you are interested in adopting Nooka, please fill out our adoption application.

The Board of Directors has voted to prohibit the use of Invisible/Electronic fences on Blind Dog Rescue Alliance dogs. This policy will be effective immediately.

About Blind Dog Rescue Alliance - TN

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of volunteers spread throughout the United States (and even a couple in Canada) who are dedicated to advocating for blind and visually impaired dogs by rescuing dogs in shelters, helping blind dog owners, and educating the public. We formed in 2009, though our members have many years of experience in rescue, and in blind dogs.

We are always looking for volunteers; let us know if you want to help out! Volunteer@BlindDogRescue.com

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit group, and all donations are tax deductible.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested in adopting a BDRA Dog? Simply fill out our application.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and on heartworm and flea/tick preventive.

We ask a $300 adoption fee. This does not begin to cover the vetwork we do on our dogs, which is why
we are always fundraising!

The Board of Directors has voted to prohibit the use of Invisible/Electronic fences on Blind Dog Rescue Alliance dogs. This policy will be effective immediately.
