Thankfully a concerned neighbor noticed the cats outside under the dumpster. She fed them and they ate ravenously. These beautiful cats who were always used to being cared for and loved were struggling to survive! The new homeowners were not interested in helping the cats, so the kind neighbor reached out to Road to Home Rescue. They immediately spread the word to find help. This is when we saw their plea and stepped in.
Bobbi and the Strays, Road to Home, and Pets4Luv volunteers worked as a team to trap the cats. The first two were easily trapped and immediately brought to safety. The last two cats presented more difficulty. They were terrified, one was injured (possibly from the broken glass that blanketed the ground), and there were heavy rain storms slowing the process. Thankfully a drop trap allowed us to catch the last two cats.
Now Twilight and her 3 friends are safe with us. Twilight is a gentle girl who is so grateful for love. She's been through so much, so is a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly. Twilight hopes for a loving home where she'll never have to worry again. Come meet her at 2 Rider Place Freeport.
All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/Felv.
