Snowy!'s Story...
Snowy is a beautiful big pup who is looking for her special home! She LOVES to run and play in the yard and toss her toys around. Snowy is thought to have been born in early 2013 and 60-65lbs or so. She has a physical disorder called mega esophagus that will require some extra care and maintenance (several feedings a day and plenty of time between eating and exercise) but is very manageable and doesn't slow Snowy down at all! If you think you might have the perfect home for Snowy - let us know asap - she would even love a fosterhome while she is waiting to be adopted!
Please email right away if you would like to learn more about this dog......and visit our website www.siarescuers.org to learn more about our rescue group. Adoption fees range from $150-$250 for dogs. THE DOGS SHOWN ON THE SITE ARE IN FOSTERCARE - WE DO NOT HAVE A SHELTER TO VISIT. EMAIL is the best way to reach us.We are a volunteer run, very small organization - so please be patient when waiting for a response, but feel free to check back in if you haven't heard from us in a day or so - thank you so much for considering a rescued pooch!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snowy!, a Sacramento German Shepherd Dog/Samoyed dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Samoyed for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Samoyed dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Samoyed breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Samoyed rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
