My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This gentle and very sweet girl is a purebred Chessie! (Chesapeake Bay Retriever) Coco is a happy, happy girl, is 7 years young and loves life!
She was surrendered when her owner could no longer keep her. She has been very loved and well cared for her whole life and it sure shines through in her great spirit! She wags her tail to greet new people - she is a love! She absolutely loves kids and has the best manners! The little boy in her foster home can walk around with is snacks and she follows him everywhere and won’t ever attempt to sneak his food.
She is fully trained and when she needs to go out, she will come and gently lick your face to be sure you get the message!!!
Coco is in heaven when she can play fetch and is totally obsessed with her ball! She walks well on her leash and would love a fenced yard where she can play ball and run free!
She does fine with other dogs and cats too!
Coco will only join you on the sofa or bed if invited to do so as she is a perfect young lady!
She is accustomed to being home alone for the work day and does just great.
Coco is a smart cookie too… she knows her cues to sit, stay and lay down
Coco is spayed, fully vetted, weighs in at about 60 pounds and has some weakness in her back end, but is on meds to manage it. She is still spunky and doesn't let it bother her!
She would love a home where she can play and then chill with you and watch TV!
