Taly's Story...
Hi, my name is Taly! I am a VERY sweet natured, gentle, and affectionate girl. I enjoy being loved on and played with. I was found after I gave birth to a litter of four babies at the loading dock of a hospital. My foster mama took us all in and let me raise my babies inside where it was warm and dry. My foster mama says I have been a very good mommy. When she found us, I was very skinny, trying to find food in the woods across the road and come back and take care of my babies. Now that my babies are old enough for homes of their own, I am hoping there is forever home out there for me too! Love, Taly

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Taly, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
