A little information about Ozzie...
Ozzie is a handsome wire haired terrier mix. . . kind of like toto from the "wizard of oz"! He is approximately 14 months old and weighs 17lbs . . . perfect for your lap, an apartment, or just about anywhere. He won his foster mom over with his dazzling personality when she met him at the shelter. Ozzie is crate trained, enjoys playing with other dogs and is very athletic. Foster mom has a cat around but she doesn't seem to like to play so Ozzie ignores her.

Event information....
We are open to the public from 10 am to 4 pm. All final decisions are made by the rescues not Homeward Bound volunteers. If you are interested in this dog or any of our dogs please go to www.homewardboundadoptionevents.jimdo.com (copy and paste in browser window) and see all of the dogs coming and also fill out an application.
If you are a first time dog owner we my require a home visit prior to adoption.
If you rent or live in a condo we will require proof that you are able to have a dog. This could be a copy of the lease or condo agreement.
We request you bring all the residents in the household to the event along with any dog in your home for a meet and greet with our trainers.
Per the request of the rescues we may limit adoptions to only Connecticut homes due to the distance and support we give them. This again is strictly the rescues decision and hope you will honor that.
We also require a follow up visit with all families within a couple of months after the adoption.
If you have additional questions about our dogs feel free to contact us. Please understand that we are all volunteers and will try to get back to you as soon as possible. If it is close to our event we are very busy with pre-screening our applicants so please understand if we can't answer all your questions in a timely manner. Our goal is to make sure these dogs go to the best home possible.
