Trooper is a one year-old sweet brindle/white male American mix puppy with a birthdate of mid-April 2015. Trooper is medium sized, weighing about 50 pounds. At about 2 months of age, Trooper was rescued from a local shelter with a broken left femur; with the assistance of Denton Animal Shelter Foundation (DASF), Trooper received basic health care and treatment for his broken leg. He required additional surgery to help his leg heal properly; he is progressing well and regaining the use of his leg. We were afraid he would lose it! Trooper is also receiving treatment for allergies that created a severe itching issue. He loves people and other animals, even cats! He is one sweet dog! If you feel that your family can give little Trooper the forever home he deserves, he would love to meet you!

About I Am Dog Rescue Inc

About Our Rescue Group...

I Am Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, foster-based, no-kill, non-profit animal rescue organization based in North Texas. Our primary purpose is to assist homeless and unwanted dogs of all breeds and sizes by providing necessary health care and rehabilitation for them prior to adoption by a loving and responsible forever family. In our efforts, we work with the “rescue community” at large to educate people about the benefit of spay/neuter and the responsibilities and costs of pet ownership to decrease the number of homeless animals. Our volunteers are the life-blood of our mission!
