My name is Gina (however I like to answer to Calli)! When I was a baby, my siblings and I were left outside until SAAP found us and saved us! I went to my foster mom's house for a few days, and she told me all about this great thing that was going to happen called adoption. I got adopted, but to be honest it wasn't so great. I don't really like to talk about it. But 4 months later I ended up back with my foster mom and back with SAAP... but I wasn't exactly the same.
I'm a great dog, don't me wrong. I just turned a year old a few months back, I know lots of commands, i come when called, I LOVE being outside and I really love to make my humans happy. I would love to have a playful, high energy doggie friend too. But there is this one thing. I'm scared of new things and new people. The world is scary! I warm up to people after I get to know them and see they're good, but you never can be to careful, right? I may never be the dog to take to a bark in the park baseball game, but I would be the dog to hang out with you in the backyard for grilling and bonfires. I would be the dog to jump up to kiss your face because I'm so happy you're home. I would be the dog to do everything I ever could to please you.
I need a special adopter because I'm special, and my fosters say I deserve it. I work really hard and love so much. I just need a family to have a little patience and understanding for me! If you think you may be that family, please feel free to PM my foster mom or go ahead and fill out an application so we can meet!
All SAAP dogs and puppies are vet checked, UTD on vaccines, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, and given flea and heartworm preventatives as age appropriate.
