Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Heidi is an adorable, brindle colored puppy who is probably about 4 months old. Since she was brought to Tri County Animal Rescue Center as a stray we can only describe what we have know about her since she has come to the shelter. Like most puppies Heidi is playful and energetic, and loves to be with people; Heidi needs a loving home that will give her not only the attention she loves, but also the training and gentle guidance she needs. Her breeding is a complete mystery to the volunteers at the shelter and is often the topic of conversation there: because her coat is a striking brindle color and pattern we suspect she may have some Staffordshire Terrier in her bloodline somewhere along the way, but she is a petite little girl with bird-like bones, not big and boxy ones; she will probably never be much bigger than a Sheltie--40 lbs. or less. Her face and body do not at all resemble the face and body of a Pit Bull or of a Boxer. Perhaps her father was the milkman or the mailman, it’s anybody’s guess! Perhaps you should come and visit Heidi for yourself and let us know what your best guess is regarding her breed. Perhaps when you do you will fall in love not only with her unusual, lovely coat, but also with her sweet puppy spirit. Perhaps that will be enough to convince you that she belongs with you in her forever home.
