Lucky's Story...
Lucky is my name and I am a very good girl. I just had my fourth birthday, I am a very social and clean girl who would make a great addition to any family. I am mostly white with some really nice black markings and spots. My sister Berta is here too and her black spots are opposite of mine. She is three years old and is a bit bigger than I am but we get along very well and love to play. We are both spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, microchipped and litter trained. We’d be happy to find a home together but of course will go our own separate ways if that is what is meant to be. Please call the Alliston & District Humane Society Adoption Line at 705-458-9038 to come see me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Everett Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Everett, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Everett.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Everett already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Everett breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Everett paves the way for another one to be saved.
