Collin's Story...
Male - Standard - White - 25#s - approx. 6-10 yrs. This mellow yellow ole teddy bear is a big cuddle bug. He is as sweet as he is loving. Dumped in a local shelter and left for dead his time was up and he was severely depressed. Sprung from the shelters deathgrip he has blossomed in foster care and is looking for a family who will add him to theirs and shower him with love and affection. He has alot of life left to live and is healthy for his age. He gets along well with fellow K9s and enjoys romping from time to time. Hes considered a furniture dog and will want to sleep with his owner and be a best pal for life! He would make a great companion for a senior and is very gentle. Typical to his Eskis roots hes curious, nosy and inquisitive. He'll let you know when someone is lurking but be your little shadow when your moving. Overall he craves a family who will spoil him and allow him to live the rest of days out with them. An Adoption Application is required - send EMAIL request to: loripasch@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Collin, a Downey American Eskimo Dog/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Downey, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Downey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Downey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Downey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog/Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Downey paves the way for another one to be saved.
