Max's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Max's Story...
This 3 yr old, Redhead is as hot as they come. Handsome and very striking he is very obedient and on his best manners 24/7. He is very loving and mellow but still has the devilish playful streak in him. He likes his fellow K9 companions and gives lots of kisses. Would love a fellow female Cocker to romp with. He is definitely a furniture dog and will curl up on the closest sofa or chair. He looks for love and affection and is ready to please. Your constant companion he loves to take walks and rides in the car. Already housetrained he will impress the whole family but prefers to be in an ADULT only household who has previous Cocker experience or one with older kids. Given a chance he will shine and bring alot of joy to the right family. An Adoption Application is required - SEND email request to

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Max, a Downey Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Downey, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Downey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Downey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Downey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Downey paves the way for another one to be saved.
