Roscoe's Story...
What a loverboy! This 6 yr old is just a little rascal! Black and Tan he has a face that just makes you want to pinch his chubby cheeks like a baby. Eyes that are soulful and sad he craves a family that will want and need him and shower him with a lot of love. Quiet and alert he will alert you to outsiders and be the best man around town. He gets along great with older kids and loves to play, he is already housetrained and obienced trained and is definitely a furniture dog. An INDOOR dog this guy will bring joy to your life and give back an abundance of love 24/7. Affectionate and very loving he can be quite nosy but minds his own business for the most part. Looking for an owner who he can share his life with and be part of the family! An adoption application is required – send email request to

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roscoe, a Downey Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Downey, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Downey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Downey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Downey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Downey paves the way for another one to be saved.
