Sherman's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Sherman's Story...
This 5.5 yr old, Red/Buff boy is big ole OAF!!!! Hunkering and loaping around the house is his favorite pasttime. Quiet as a mouse but slick as a devil this guy will get into mischief before you can flick an eye. He adores having another female Cocker companion around and would welcome a home where he could just fit in and be himself. Full of kisses and proper like a prince he is quite the gentleman and knows how to cross his paws(legs). This gentle giant is larger than the average Cocker weighing approx. 30-35#s with a beautiful long natural tail but can still be picked up. An INDOOR dog he will make a great back warmer for his new owner and be on his best behavior 24/7. He is a furniture boy, one which you could trust your baby with. Looking for a new family who will spoil him rotten and keep him looking handsome he will melt your heart with his soulful eyes! An Adoption Application is required - send EMAIL request to loripasch@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherman, a Downey Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Downey, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Downey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Downey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Downey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Downey paves the way for another one to be saved.
