Oscar's Story...

Oscar is a lovable, cuddly, affectionate senior bichon. He is 10 years old and weighs 12 pounds. Oscar is leash trained, house trained, and enjoys spending most of his time curled up on the couch beside his foster Mom or laying in his comfy bed.

Oscar loves other dogs and his tail starts to wag happily when he sees one. He would love to have another small dog in his new home to play with. He is the sweetest boy, and we cannot imagine why he ended up at a shelter. Oscar is not a vocal dog and currently lives in an apartment. He loves going for short walks, and is always excited for dinner time. Oscar is a good boy that sleeps all night in his doggy bed. He is in good health, but he does have a heart murmur which is common for Bichon's.

Oscar has been neutered, micro chipped, fully vaccinated, heart worm checked, dewormed, given Revolution, and had dental done. His adoption fee is $250.00 (senior rate) and includes his vet records.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oscar, a London Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in London, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in London.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in London already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a London breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in London paves the way for another one to be saved.
