Facts about Guinness

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Unknown
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: C-15-07-13-02
  • Hair: Short
Guiness is the shy boy of the group. He takes his time warming up but as soon as he is comfortable he is a play machine. His foster mom has loved watching him come out of his shell. His favorite way to play is to try and catch and bat your fingers while you wiggle them in front of him. He loves to be near his mama (cat), often you can see them grooming each other and snuggling or he's off playing tag with his brother. He is still unsure of the dogs and would do best with other cats in the home.

Guinness and his mom Mama are a bonded mother and son pair hoping that 2017 will be their year to find their forever family. Mama was found in rural Missouri on a farm with her five 2 day old kittens. She was extremely thin but quickly bounced back once she was rescued. All her babies (except Guinness) have been adopted already.
Mama is a very loving, sweet cat that comes running over to greet her foster mom and dad as soon as they come home. She loves to rub up against your legs and even rolls to her back to have her belly rubbed. Guinness is much more shy but as soon as he warms up he is just as loving! Guinness loves to talk to his foster mom and will play with his favorite feather toy for as long as you will let him.

Mama and Guinness are looking for a home without any other cats or dogs. Older child would be perfect for them to love on.

Please contact their foster mom if you would like to open your home to these two, 314-520-3543.If you have any questions or would like to meet this pet, please email contact@stlpetrescue.com. About St. Louis Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.

We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
