My name is Scooby Doo and my story is one of those rare but happy endings because of how my siblings and I were taken in and cared for so well by wonderful people. My stray and feral Black Lab mix momma had us in a field behind a nursery in Nashville, TN. We were born in a fox type den. With no one providing food and water, mom did a great job caring for us on her own. She nursed us and scrounged for food everyday to stay healthy and able to feed us. The people who owned the flower nursery saw us and worked hard to catch us so we could get to a safe place. My momma didn’t make it easy to come near us. Once they brought us home, my siblings and I fought hard to get healthy. We had a lot of hurdles to overcome but now we are totally healthy and happy and having a fun time playing and eating all that we need. I am quite handsome and playful and I have beautiful markings with a cute little jelly bean mark on the top of my head that is called a Bentley. I am strong and what you might call an Alpha personality. I would do well with another adult dogs that could teach me how to act and have good doggie manners. I need a strong willed owner who will keep me in line and not let me run over them just because I’m adorable. I am smart, handsome and confident. I like other dogs and love the attention of people. I love to play and chase and I love to play rough and tumble with my siblings. I would be good with a family of children or a young couple who want to exercise and maybe take me for runs.
