"Howdy, friends! My name is PETIE. If you're not familiar with Petey from The Little Rascals, be sure to Google it. Not only do I look just like him, I also have the same loyal and friendly temperament. I'm a happy pit bull who's just one year old, so I'm energetic and fun-loving. I know both the "sit" and "lie down" commands because I'm a good boy. I love to play fetch with my toys, and I adore belly rubs. I'll need a fenced yard in my new home so I can run around and get some exercise, plus I'd do best with a daily walk. I've picked up a chubby tummy along the way, so regular walks would help me in that department, too. Maybe we could even go hiking at one of the many nice trails around the area. I get along great with other dogs, and I'd be a wonderful family pet in a home where the kids are older. I'd want to be part of the family, so please give me a soft and comfy doggie bed in the house so I can hang out with you on a regular basis. Won't you please come visit me here at the El Cajon Animal Shelter? They've got an excellent play yard here where we can spend some time getting to know each other. I hope to see you soon!
