Bordeux's Story...
Bordeaux is a gorgeous young yellow lab. He is gentle, loving and a real people boy. Bordeaux is about 2-3 years old and is average size for a lab, weighing 60 lbs. He is great with other dogs and is quite a gem! He would be considered medium energy and loves to run and play with his foster siblings, but settles down in the house for some cuddles and naptime in front of the TV or fireplace. Bordeaux really likes being with people and would make a great companion for just about any family. He is a smart boy who would excel in training classes and do very well. He does well on a leash and would love going for long walks with his family, or running in the park. He loves all of his good boy treats and takes them very nicely. Bordeaux is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and is micro-chipped. He is also crate trained. If you would like to learn more about Bordeaux and how he could become a part of your family, please go to our website, www.luckylabrescue.com, complete the online application and indicate him in the notes section. He is sure to make any family proud.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bordeux, a Lewisville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lewisville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lewisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lewisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lewisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lewisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
