Letka's Story...

Letka is a 1 year old gal that has a personality true to her breed mix. She has a strong herding sense, bonds quickly to her human, and loves to work. Letka plays well with others at the dog park and is good with kids. Her ideal family is active and includes her in their lives. Letka loves to run, takes commands well, and truly loves having a job to do. She was found along a freeway on ramp with Sam the Boxer. while we would love to see them get adopted together, it is not mandatory. Letka is spayed, UTD on shots and is micro chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Letka, a Bakersfield Cattle Dog/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Bakersfield, or seeking a Cattle Dog/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Bakersfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bakersfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bakersfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bakersfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
