There will be a phone interview and a screening process. As I will want to make sure that you are the right person for the particular pup, you will also want to make sure I am the rescue you want to do business with. My references are the Better Business Bureau, Lodi Animal Shelter, Pals in Lodi, Pacific Veterinary Hospital in Stockton, Vineyard Vet in Lockeford. You can also read about my accomplishments in the notes on my Pups Rescue Facebook page
Are you looking for a happy little dynamo who runs like the wind, but also snuggles in your lap? A sweet pup who loves human attention and to play with other dogs and kitties? Then Peaches is the girl for you! Peaches is 13 lbs. We aren't sure, but she appears to be a Rat Terrier mix or perhaps Jack Russell. She has a stub tail. Her coloring is a 'red merle', and very beautiful. The good news is that although Peaches moves quickly, and could make a great little agility dog, she also settles in the house and loves to snuggle on the couch or bed with you. She loves chewies, and playing with stuffed, squeaker toys. She really loves to play with other dogs, and would enjoy a playmate, perhaps male best. Peaches has come a long way from when she and some mates were running loose in a trailer park, and had to be captured to safety. Peaches potties outside and occasionally on pee pads indoors. Peaches is a clean slate ready for obedience training, fun activities, or just loving. She is spayed and has all vaccinations and is microchipped. If you are interested in adopting her, call or email Tonya at 209-296-8558 email@example.com
YOU MUST CALL FIRST, SENDING AN EMAIL FIRST WILL DELAY THE ADOPTION PROCESS. You must be at least 25 years old to adopt a puppy from this organization. NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter! Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
