My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a COURTESY POST for a rescue friend. BRUNO is not a Blues City dog. Please email jjazzette11@aol.com for an application and additional information. Please do not contact Blues City with questions on Bruno as we will not be able to answer them. Thank you.

Bruno was rescued off a Memphis street, a discarded "bait" dog used to train fighters. His canine teeth filed and face torn in a dozen places. Now only the scars remain.

And yet... there's no sweeter dog you'll ever know. He seems to realize how lucky he is. He shows his love to everyone he meets. He is always laughing, even when carrying his rubber football. He holds it so tight that all you can do is tug at the ball and laugh along with him.

People at the dog park (where he goes daily) are always asking, "Where's Bruno?" The canine regulars wag their tails when they see him. Newcomers, on first sight, may take pause but in seconds they see how sweet he is. If you want a companion that looks tough to anyone that cannot see beyond looks Bruno is the dog for you.

Bruno is 1 1/2 to 2 years old and weighs 60 lbs. He has all his shots, is neutered, and heartworm negative. He would make a wonderful pet for a single person who wants to feel safe at home. He is fine with children. He loves to ride in the car and play fetch and sit in a baby pool full of water; a dog with character and personality.

He is very loving and companionable. He wants to please. He gets along with other dogs but would prefer to be your only pet. He is not aggressive toward his foster's cat.

If you would like an adoption application for BRUNO please email jjazzette11@aol.com.
A fenced yard and references are required. Please give Bruno a loving home and he will give you loyalty and love beyond measure. Bruno's adoption fee is $300 and it includes transport to the Nashville area.
