Hi, I’m Scruffy and I’m a rather special guy at the Rescue. Before I was rescued, I was living in a dog carrier fending for myself! I am quite shy and extremely docile and low-maintenance. You will often find me relaxing in a crate indoors or sunning myself on a patch of grass in the yard. When the volunteers come to the kennel I get so excited and bounce up and down, but have been too timid to actually let them hold or pet me yet. I know how to use the doggie door and love certain kinds of treats. I almost never make a peep and for an exceptionally kind and understanding family, I would make the loveliest addition. It will certainly take me time to open up and trust you, but once I do we will both be handsomely rewarded!
