My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Whiskers is a two year old, black and tan, male dachshund with a super shiny short coat who loves to sit in your lap and cuddle all night long. He and his litter mate Baby, also a male, but with long red hair are in need of a new home. They are both two years old, neutered, heart worm negative and up to date on vaccinations. Whiskers is piddle pad and doggy door trained and has a sweet loving personality. He gets along great with other dogs and enjoys running and playing with his litter mate Baby. He likes to play with stuffed toys and shows promise for retrieving a ball. If you would like to have a dog who follows your every step and wants to be by your side with everything you do, Whiskers is your boy.

Whiskers and Baby have always been together and it would be ideal if they could stay together, yet they would probably be OK if separated and had other dogs around.

If you would like to adopt Whiskers, the first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers.
