Hello! My name is Blue and I am a 5 year old Great Dane/Mastiff mix. I will turn 6 in December.
I am housebroke and I don't cause any trouble. Just don't leave a garbage can out because I can't resist checking out what goodies you may have thrown in there! I do love to be on furniture! I will respect your command if you don't want me on something, but I am most comfortable when I feel welcomed to relax where I please.
I love my people! I love, love, love, love my people! I want to spend as much time with them as possible and I am so so so happy when they are home! I hop and whole body wag when my people come home. They are the greatest thing ever! I want to be someone's most wonderful gift in life. I am pretty amazing and super handsome. I don't think it is too much to ask to be the center of someone's world!
My mom had to surrender me because she could no longer care for me. She loved me so much that she found FFGDRI to take me rather than send me to a shelter. She knew I would be confused and scared and she wanted to make the transition as easy for me as possible. When I got to my foster home, after a long drive, I was very afraid. In fact, I was afraid for several days. My whole world got turned upside down! Wouldn't you be scared too?
My foster mamma says that I need to be with someone who has patience and won't be discouraged during the first few days. I will probably bark at my new people and try to intimate them to keep them away from me while I search my new surroundings. I need time. That's not too much to ask.
I walk well on a leash and introduce well to strangers as long as my person
says it is safe. I look to my person for guidance.
I get along great with my foster cat and dog siblings! I am very submissive. I would love to have at least one other pet sibling to keep me company while my human is at work or out on errands.
I have allergies to dyes in food. They make my ears itchy and yeasty. I'm getting special cream in my ears right now which I don't care for at all! Foster Mamma says it will help me. She put me on dye free and grain free food in hopes that it will help my ears.
Foster Mamma says that I am amazing! She loves my personality and says I am a big teddy bear! She says that she will help me pick the absolute most perfect forever home and that she promised my Mom that I would go to the best forever home! I need someone with patience, another furry friend, someone to give me proper food and someone who will love me as much as I love them. My person is my world. After all, you are all I have. Will you give me your world?
