Bandit's Story...
Meet Bandit. Bandit is a 6 year old Puggle. He is the sweetest and easiest going dog we have had in a while. He is really good with all the other dogs, the cats, and he absolutely adore children.

Bandit has a chronic cherry eye, the vet feels the best way to handle this is by applying eye drops 3 to 4 times a day, which makes Bandit a special needs dog. There is an operation that can temporarily fix the problem but the vet feels it best not to do it at this time.

Bandit is heartworm negative, up to date on all shots, dewormed, neutered, microchipped, and on preventions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Carthage Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Carthage, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Carthage.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carthage already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carthage breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carthage paves the way for another one to be saved.
