for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Sparks's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sparks's Story...
Sparks is 15 yrs old and came from Nee Mexico. We are not sure how he got to SC or how he ended up living outside an apartment complex since the owner information on his chip is no longer valid. Though he had a rough life, that doesn't stop him from being friendly and wanting attention. He likes his chin scratched and his head rubbed. He will talk to you for attention too! He is also good with cats and dogs. Medically, he is great as well. His teeth have been scaled and his bloodwork is normal. Would you consider giving this wonderful senior a final home?

Adoption fee of $75 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, FIV/FELV test and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.

Please email karenwbarker@yahoo.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sparks, a Mount Pleasant Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Mount Pleasant, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Mount Pleasant.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Pleasant already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Pleasant breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Pleasant paves the way for another one to be saved.
