Rocky's Story...
Rocky is a 2 year old Great Dane. He ended up in dog jail when his owner went to jalil also. The owner did not reclaim Rocky, so he got to hang out at Animal Control for a while. We met Rocky there and won his freedom.

He is one superb dog! Rocky is gentle, calm, housebroken and behaves well in the house. He also gets along well with other dogs and cats. Rocky will sit and shake on command and is very gentle for such a large dog. He will try to sit in your lap if you let him.

Rocky has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. His adoption fee is $350.00.

If you are interested in adopting this stunning dog, please write us at and ask for an application to adopt. We are a foster-home based organization, and the adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we can schedule a time for you to meet this pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Atlanta Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
