My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dakota is a 1 year old male lab/belgian mainois, possible pit bull terrier mix that weighs about 40lbs. Dakota is a great dog that is a lot of fun to be around. Unfortunately he is very fearful of men until he gets to know them. He is smart and wants to please his owner. Walks good on a leash and knows basic commands. Dakota is an inside dog but loves to run and play outdoors. He currently lives with 9 other dogs and gets along with all animals no matter the size. He is house and crate trained, up to date on all vaccines and neutered . Please contact Cindy at cindylisk@bellsouth.net or 404-661-1893 for more information. Dakota's adoption fee is $100.

All our dogs live in foster homes. Please contact the foster home email listed for more information and and an adoption application. Please note, our adoptions are not done on a "first come first serve" basis. We are looking for the best possible match for our dogs and reserve the right to select or refuse an application at our discretion. CAN is a 100% volunteer-based rescue and all our volunteers have jobs, families and dogs to take care of. Thank you for your patience and understanding if we don't get back to you immediately.
