Say hello to Banjo or as his foster family likes to call him Ban Jovi. He is a 10 year old Shih Tzu without a care in the world. As far as dogs go, Banjo is really as mellow as they come. He gets along well with other dogs although, is not overly interested in playing. If you are looking for a good companion to cuddle up with, you've come to the right place. His temperament is beyond easygoing, and he is sure to win you over with his dopey smile.
This little fur ball will require some training though. He is fine with being left alone in the house and not having accidents or perusing a destructive path. However, he can be quite stubborn and tends to have selective hearing. Right now he lacks all of the basic K-9 maneuvers (sit, shake, come, lay down, etc) but with time and patience I'm sure he could master them. Currently he weighs in around 28 lbs and needs to get down closer to 20 so a daily walk is encouraged to the new owner. Right now about a mile or so is about all he is able to do.
Banjo would be a great fit for most anyone who has the time for him; however no kids under 10 please. Families that want a gentle dog to hug on the couch and watch movies with. The elderly couple who wants an RV buddy to see the country!
Banjo is neutered, current on his vaccinations and microchipped.
