Hecate's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Hecate's Story...
I was rescued with my 4 siblings in the nick of time from Hillsborough County Animal Services. My sister Ceridwen and I came to live with our foster mommy to get big and strong. We love to play and to run wild through the house. The Animal Services people said we were feral and unsocial, but boy - did we prove them wrong!!! Our favorite sleeping spot is on mommy's lap and we are purr machines!! We give kisses and love to play with balls that light up and other softer toys as well. We can't wait to find our forever home (preferably together).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hecate, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
