BRAVO (video)'s Story...
Hello everybody! My name is Bravo!! I am a 2-year-old male Border Collie mix. I weigh approximately 53 pounds.

I am a super sweet, lovable pup! I get along great with everybody I meet - people and dogs alike!

I was brought into a local high-kill shelter as a stray. I was in really bad shape when I got there. Aside from being covered in ticks, I was limping and favoring my right, rear leg. Upon inspection, the staff noticed that my leg was swollen, I had a large wound on the inside of my paw that was becoming necrotic, and an abrasion on my thigh. It's just a guess, but most likely I had been dragged by a car.

My friends at the shelter treated me for the ticks and clipped and cleaned my wounds. I was given pain medication and an antibiotic.Thankfully, after about a week of medication I was able to use my leg again and my gait returned to normal.

It wasn't long before CageFree heard about me. Before I knew it, I was heading to their facility to stay while they search for a forever home for me.

When I got there, my human companions realized that I probably needed to see a specialist to be sure that there was no internal damage to my leg. Lucky for me, there wasn't, but I did end up needing stitches to keep the wound closed up. I'm just happy I didn't need surgery! That would have totally sucked!

I am a young guy with lots of energy. I am playful, silly, loving, and very entertaining. I am definitely a goofball! I have a zest for life that can't be matched! I'm looking forward to exploring the world with all my new friends and family. I would love it if you came to meet me to see if I would make a great companion for you.

I am searching for an active family, so if you're more into couch potatoes, I am probably not the right dog for you. However, if that's more your speed, my friends at CageFree can recommend some dogs for you. If you're looking for a playmate, a pup that will drown you in doggy kisses, or a dog that will run around with you in the backyard, look no further because I am your guy! Please don't hesitate to contact CageFree and tell them you want to meet me! I am so excited to get started with my new life!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BRAVO (video), a Los Angeles Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
