Jameson II is a young Red Heeler mix. She’s already achieved most of her adult size, weighing nearly 80 lbs.  She’s already learned some basic commands, she’s reliably housetrained, is comfortable in her crate, and has developed wonderful manners for walking on a leash. She’s extremely playful and loving, and plays well with both children and dogs, although she’s never had the opportunity to interact with a cat!

Her favorite toys include bones and any kind of “tug toy” or dog rope toy. Because Jameson is still in the “puppy stage” of life, she can find inappropriate ways to amuse herself (think digging, or chewing on the ‘wrong’ things) if ignored too long without appropriate toys to keep her engaged.

She’s in happy, ‘exuberant’ health, loves to be with her people, is up to date medically, enjoys playing with other friendly dogs, and is overall just very playful and loving companion.

If you feel your home might be the right place for this wonderful dog, the place to start is with the adoption application found at  Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $225.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter.

Jameson II is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.

About DFW Rescue Me

About Our Rescue Group...

Our goal is to save dogs at the local shelters in the Dallas \ Fort Worth Metroplex from euthanasia and adopt them to the public. We spay / neuter these dogs as well as provide all necessary medical care. We also educate the public about responsible pet ownership. We love dogs and our goal is to reduce / eliminate euthanisias being done in this area by shelters due to overcrowding.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Dogs can be met at our adoptions events, at their foster homes, or the boarding facility where they are staying. They can also be met during the home visit.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fee for dogs is $250. We required an adoption application and check both vet references and pet deposits / breed restrictions if they apply. We also do a home check prior to all adoptions.
