found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
Trey is a 5 month old pitty male that has had it pretty rough thus far.
Trey came in to the shelter as a stray and was immediately put on the urgent list due to the severity of his injuries. He was suspected of being hit by a car and was found laying limp in the street.
BRPBR saw that he was on the shelter's urgent list and was able to secure transport from the shelter to our vet hospital.
After eval by Dr. Clark along with xrays, it was determined that Trey won't need an amputation, but will need femoral reparation with hardware. Thankfully the femur break was not at the joint!
Trey had his surgery on 9/23/15 and is currently on crate rest with checkups. He was also neutered and his cherry eye was fixed while under anesthesia.
While we are now accepting adoption applications on Trey, he will not be able to go to a forever home until medically cleared. He is currently up to date on shots, dewormed, neutered and on monthly heartworm preventative. He will be heartworm tested and microchipped prior to adoption.
