Ginger's Story...
Ginger came to us by way of North Carolina. The family who picked her up off this side of the road watched, in horror as the car in front of them tossed her out of their moving car. Her leg was broken, but has healed since then. Unfortunately, she will always walk with a slight limp. The family that rescued her are not able to keep her and called Wescott. Ginger is a happy go lucky puppy. She's out going, playful, great with everyone one she meets (2 legs or 4) and doesn't miss a chance to give kisses. Her dream home would include a back yard to run in, maybe a friend or two to play with (human or otherwise) and lots of treats.

If you can make her dream come true, please email WescottAcresPetRescue@gmail.com

Adoption Fee=$150

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Columbia Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Columbia, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Columbia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbia paves the way for another one to be saved.
