Facts about O'Malley

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Orange Or Red Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Howdy folks! O’Malley is my name and though I may look like every other red tabby in the world, I've got my very own unique personality and lots of it. I’m six years old and weigh in at 12 pounds of solid muscle, but I’m a lover, not a fighter. My foster Mom calls me her sweet boy and my favorite place is curled up on her lap or, if that’s not available, on the bed next to her pillow. I can be a bit shy around new people until I get to know them. I LOVE to be brushed and will take all the attention and pampering you’ve got to give.

A note from O'Malley's foster mom:
O’Malley is gentle soul, and although he doesn’t care to be picked up, he’s more than happy to hop up in your lap for an evening of TV watching. When O’Malley came to us he had to leave behind his lifelong friend (a yellow lab), so he may be up for taking on a gentle fur buddy. This handsome boy is in the loving foster care of Terry & Kathy where he is being loved and spoiled until his furever home is found. ~ Call NMARN at 231-238-PAWS (7297) to spend some time getting to know O'Malley.

About Northern Michigan Animal Rescue Network

About Our Rescue Group...

We promote the awareness of Northern Michigan Animal Shelters and the many dogs and cats available for adoption.

Our Adoption Process...

Each individual adoption is handled on a case by case basis. Each potential adopter will be interviewed to see if the pet and new owner are a match. Each person is then asked for a vet reference and they are checked up on by a member of the goup. Depneding on the age of the animal, the health status, and what is involved with the animals to make it adoptable the fees range from $60 to $150. All animals are spayed and neutered prior to adoption, and current on shots.
