Murphy was adopted from a shelter in Murfreesboro, TN while his first owner attended college. While there, it was discovered he likes the occasional lick of a margarita and bbq chips much to his owners chagrin. From there, he moved to Dayton, Ohio and lived there for about 3 years before ending up in the Cincinnati area. While in Cincinnati, a new kitten was introduced and a few years later a dog. Murphy does well with other cats and dogs though he isn’t one to cuddle with a dog. Then, after a marriage, two kids came along, one of which is allergic to dogs and cats. So, Murphy’s owners must now find new homes for the animals to avoid the breathing issues of the oldest child.
More about him: He loves to be petted and adores eating way too much. When you get home, he enjoys to have a good conversation. And, weather permitting, he adores taking a stroll outside. He was leash trained back in college, but usually goes out without a leash. He was fixed and front declawed when adopted from the shelter. He is a GREAT cat. Extremely loving. In regards to toys, he likes those fake furry mice the most and the occasional ribbon.
