Sage's Story...
Hi, my name is SAGE, and I am a love. I talked with Santa at Christmas time, and gave him my Christmas wish of a new forever family. He said he was trying to find that family, but hasn’t been successful yet. I love rubbing up against my human and I love being petted. My fur is ticked, which means it has different colors on each strand. I think there might be an Abyssinian in my ancestry. I am small and soft. My tail looks like a raccoon's tail. My friend, Crissy, and I got in my foster’s bathtub. We thought that was a fun place to get all cleaned up. I was rescued from a hoarding house, and am living in a great foster home. It is time to find my forever family, could that be you? Call my foster and let’s get acquainted.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sage, a Ogden Abyssinian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Ogden, or seeking a Abyssinian cat from a breeder in Ogden.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ogden already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ogden breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ogden paves the way for another one to be saved.
