Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gala came to rescue with matted fur, super skinny and full of parasites. We shaved her fur and saw just how emaciated she really was. She has been treated and is doing absolutely amazing. Looking at her before and after pictures, you can hardly believe it is the same dog. She looks fabulous.
Gala has done well with the dogs she meets and currently enjoys playing with her best friend, baby Mateo. The two of them are absolutely adorable together! She has also done well with house training and we have been working on basic obedience commands. She certainly loves having her puppy buddy and we think she would do well with a fur buddy in her new home.
With her people, Gala is all about her getting pets and snuggles. She adores people and will let you know that she doesn't want you to stop by placing her paw on your arm, should you suddenly stop petting her. She loves to zoom, romp and run around the yard. This is a really nice dog with a great disposition.

No Borders Animal Rescue Society (NOBARS)
We are a registered non profit society. All our dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and are fostered in homes with families.
NOBARS believes that a dog is best assessed for a new home environment by living in one!!!! Therefore we do not use kennels, but have a network of approved foster homes where our dogs can be properly assessed before being offered for rehoming. Our foster homes offer a varied range of experiences which means we can choose an appropriate foster home for each dog, but it also means our dogs are able to experience situations which are invaluable to owners looking to take on a new forever friend, such as children, cats and other dogs.
