My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosie is a pure-bred boxer, and is about 1 and a half years young. She has been spayed, chipped, and up to date on shots.

Rosie was rescued by A Home for Spot at a Vet's office, where her original owners brought her in for a broken front leg (allegedly from jumping from a wall). Rosie had two broken bones that had to be fixed, but her owner’s couldn’t afford the surgery, so they opted to put her to sleep. A Home for Spot stepped in and took possession of Rosie and had her leg operated on in an attempt to save it from being amputated in May 2015. The first surgery was unsuccessful, so A Home for Spot took Rosie to an Orthopedic Vet Specialist, where she had a second surgery in an attempt to save her leg. After a couple of months of living at the Vet's due to the surgeries, Rosie went to live with her foster mom and two little fur friends to convalesce. Rosie has had to be crated while at home with minimal movement to ensure her leg healed properly.

After her final check-up with the Vet for her leg in October, Rosie is finally up for adoption through A Home for Spot. She is crate and potty trained. She gets along great with little dogs and loves to play with her toys. She also likes her belly rubbed and will stand next to you if you’re on the couch and lift her back leg up so you can rub her belly.

If you are interested in meeting Rosie, please contact her foster mom Paula at 702-340-5193. There is an adoption fee.
