This beautiful young lady is Sammy, a 4 year old American bulldog mix that would just love a great home of her own. Sammy has not had an easy time of it in her young life but she doesn't hold it against anyone. She was used for breeding in her original "home", then bounced around a bit between various shelters and foster homes before she landed herself safely here with us. Sammy just couldn't be any sweeter and we'll never understand why she had to go through all that she did, but she is now looking forward to a happy and bright future. Sammy is a very friendly girl that immediately does the wiggle-butt-dance when you go get her for a walk. She walks by other dogs and basically ignores them, but she would prefer to be the only dog in a home. Sammy is well behaved and walks very well on a leash. She sits instantly when asked and takes treats very gently. She has some interest in toys but is more interested in checking out every tree that she passes by, and all of our resident peacocks that pass by her. Sammy will need a home with no cats. She is ready to make the move to a fabulous, forever home where she will be loved and cared for the way she deserves to be. File#25597 10/4/15
