Journey (Courtesy Listing)'s Story...
Meet Journey, a beautiful young Turkish Van mix in search of her forever home. This fluffy girl weighs an impressive 14+ lbs. She would prefer to be an only cat but would do fine with other kitties if they leave her be.

Journey enjoys attention and will sit next to you for rubs, scratches, and general adoration. She isn't really into toys or play time. She is more of a mellow kitty, preferring to nap the day away. While she doesn't necessarily like to be carried around, she does allow her foster mom to scoop her up and nuzzle her belly. She keeps her super soft fur very well groomed and enjoys being combed.

If you are interested in adopting gorgeous Journey, please contact her foster mom at nikiforgues@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Journey (Courtesy Listing), a Santa Ana Turkish Van cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Van for sale in Santa Ana, or seeking a Turkish Van cat from a breeder in Santa Ana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Ana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Ana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Van breeders who help with Turkish Van rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Ana paves the way for another one to be saved.
