Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Cici. This little beauty has not had an easy start in life. When she was pulled from the shelter, she was sick with a nasty respiratory infection, and she battled it for weeks. After she finally recovered, and was doing great, she was unfortunately injured in a household accident. She sustained a head trauma, which left her with some minor brain damage. She appears unable to meow, and instead uses hissing to communicate. She hisses when she's hungry, happy, angry, and when she's feeling particularly temperamental. Her foster home says that the hissing has become part of Cici's charm, and is now somewhat endearing. She enjoys having humans around, but she doesn't really want them to touch her too much. She likes an occasional head scratch, but she will probably never be a cuddly kitten. Cici appreciates having attentive humans, and understands that they take care of her. She really needs to have someone who understands her quirkiness, and that she can't necessarily control certain aspects of her demeanor. Therefore, we are suggesting she not be in a home with children. She just needs someone who will enjoy her company, but not expect too much from her. Cici has perfect litter box etiquette, and plays just like other kittens.
Cici is spayed, felv/fiv negative, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. She is fostered in Huntsville Alabama, but is not fussy about where she ends up. If you are interested in adopting Cici, please email info@forrescue.net, or better yet, fill out our adoption application at www.forrescue.net/cat-application. It doesn’t bind you to anything, it’s just a good starting point.
