Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Layla is like a goofy, awkward, fun loving teenager. She is learning about trust and about her surroundings everyday. Layla or nugget as we also call her, was born to a feral mom in north Birmingham. She is playful and loving but shy and scared in new situations due to her past. She loves, loves, loves water and trips to the dog park. She has been going to her foster moms office and has been behaved perfectly. She is also starting to enjoy trips to the pet store to get special treats. Layla needs a home with another canine friend, as she loves dogs as much as she loves her people. Her perfect home will have a doggie friend for her, possibly some school aged kids or older and an active but patient mom or dad who will continue to take her places and socialize her so she can continue to thrive and grow. She also needs lots of chews, toys and bones as she definitely is still in the puppy chewing stage and loves to play and chew and play and chew. Layla is about 10 months old and maybe 45-50 lbs. she should grow a bit more before she is done. She rides great in the car, is crate trained and potty trained. Layla is being fostered in Birmingham, AL but is open to relocating for the perfect FORever home. For information about adopting Layla please contact us at info@forrescue.net.
