Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet April, like most dogs who come to rescue, did not have a happy start to life. She was a neglected, abused, "outside" dog who basically had to fend for herself for anything - food, shelter... Since we have had her, she has been to the vet to be spayed and made physically healthy in every possible way, AND now that she has been living in boarding, though she is still shy with people she doesn't know, she is sooo affectionate with those she knows and trusts. She enjoys other dogs and is sweet and mildly playful. We want her to go to a calm home where she can be leash walked OR supervised in a yard with a six foot fence, because she CAN get over a six foot fence if left to her own devices.
